Challenge

Agenz, the Moroccan proptech founded in 2021 by Malik and Badr Belkeziz, had grown into a platform drawing 730K+ monthly visits. Its $5M round, led by Breega with Attijariwafa Ventures and Saviu Ventures, was the kind of announcement that shapes how a company is read by the market.

The story had to land at once across Morocco's economic and general-interest press, and it had to travel in three languages: French, Arabic and English.

Approach

DaBuzz drafted and coordinated the rollout of the funding announcement across Morocco's economic and general-interest press, adapting the story into French, Arabic and English. Two negotiated tier-1 editorial partnerships anchored the national wave.

Beyond the agreed scope, the team syndicated the announcement to key media across the region, extending a national story into a pan-African one at no extra scope.

Results

75 placements in total, 33 national and 42 pan-African, across 43 unique outlets and 18 countries. The 27 tier-1 hits accounted for 82% of national coverage, and 12 owned and earned social posts amplified the story on LinkedIn, Instagram and X.

Tier-1 highlights ranged from Le360 and Medias24 to L'Économiste, Challenge and Assabah, with pan-African pickups led by Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Senegal, South Africa and Nigeria.
