Challenge
The inaugural GITEX Future Health Africa Morocco brought the continent's health-tech conversation to Casablanca, and AstraZeneca arrived with news of substance: a landmark Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, framing clinical research, AI-driven healthcare and early-detection programs.
A three-day summit, a government signing and a trilingual media landscape: the coverage had to be everywhere at once, and entirely on-message.
Approach
DaBuzz provided end-to-end PR support across all three event days: press invitations, on-site coordination with a dedicated press attaché and account manager, and interview facilitation, including a TV interview, an interview with AZ MENA President Rami Scandar, and a media tour with Amine Sekhri of AstraZeneca Morocco.
Two press releases carried the story, covering the MoU signing and the event wrap-up, while media collaborations with Telquel, Hespress, Le New and MAP deepened the coverage. Daily recap videos and a best-of highlight reel gave the summit a video-first record.
